Welcome to the Survey Research Centre

The Survey Research Centre offers a spectrum of services ranging from design consultation to fieldwork to data anaylsis. We support a Computer Assisted Telephone Interview (CATI) lab for phone survey research in both official languages. Using Sensus Web, we provide programming, hosting and a full range of services for web surveys. We also conduct mail questionnaires, street intercepts and focus groups.

Since 1999 we have worked to develop our expertise in rigorous, complex academic research. Our focus is on maintaining a high standard of social science research for clients that include: academic researchers (both at UW and other institutions), UW administration, regional governments and non-profit organizations.

We foster academic learning and research by providing consultation, courses and seminars to the university community. We provide learning opportunities for graduate students on statistical research projects. We provide experience in telephone data collection for undergraduate students
